WWE SmackDown Results of July 23, 2019


Shane McMahon took on Kevin Owens ‘ challenge for Summerslam, so the match is virtually official. During the episode, as Shane announced, however, KO will have to face the Big Dog, Roman Reigns.

Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Apollo Crews in a No Title match.

The Miz hosted Shawn Michaels on Miz TV. Dolph Ziggler later arrived and the three were told of all colors. In the end, Dolph first hit Miz with a fist and later Shawn with a SuperKick.

Ember Moon defeated Charlotte Flair via Roll-Up. Soon after, he hit both Bayley and Charlotte with the Eclipse

Kofi Kingston challenged Randy Orton at Summerslam. The two held a very good promo, but in the end the match valid for the WWE Championship was announced. Soon after, Kofi faced Samoa Joe: the match ended in disqualification, with Randy hitting an RKO on Joe and Kofi hitting Randy with his Trouble In Paradise.

Finn Balor challenged Bray Wyatt to Summerslam. Soon after, the FireFly Fun House returned with Bray accepting the challenge and showing us a new disturbing footage of her new character.

Charlotte Flair, through an interview, confirmed her presence for Summerslam. However, the Queen said she will have a better opponent than Ember Moon, and this will not be Bayley.

Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens have the upper hand over Shane McMahon, Elias and Drew McIntyre. Eventually, KO lands Shane with a double Stunner.
