WWE PPV cancels for a show in Saudi Arabia

Several weeks ago, we learned that the WWE inverted the following PPVs: Money in the Bank and Extreme Rules. Thus, MITB will be the first big show after WrestleMania next month, and Extreme Rules will be held in July.

The Rajah website took the opportunity to publish the WWE’s tentative PPV schedule. But since then, the show in Saudi Arabia has changed date and it will affect another show.

Thus, the Saudi show will not take place on May 3, but June 7. Except that 9 days later was planned Backlash, June 16 more precisely. Dave Meltzer then explained that the WWE had canceled this annual show.

Doing “two big shows” in a little over a week, it would not be what the federation wants, not wanting to build several shows at a time like last year.

Regarding NXT TakeOver which is scheduled for June 8, we still do not know if it will indeed take place
