Roman Reigns decided not to fight at WrestleMania due to his compromised immune system, and the increasing threat of the new coronavirus. Nobody is blaming Roman Reigns on this end, but there could be some tension in WWE.
Dave Meltzer remarked on Wrestling Observer Radio that he got a strange vibe from the way WWE didn’t notice Roman Reigns at all through WrestleMania 36. Braun Strowman was just announced for the Universal Title match against Goldberg, and then the Monster Among Men won.
“Maybe they’re mad at him and they have no right to be. It’s either they’re mad at him or they’re just working to hide it as much as they can and they don’t want to deal with it.”
This is a difficult situation, and we’ll just have to see how everything pans out. Roman Reigns commented on knowing how he wants to be used during his video explanation of why he removed out of WrestleMania 36. It’s hard to blame Roman Reigns for choosing to think about his health instead, but Vince McMahon is notorious for living in his own WWE bubble.
