WWE had a very interesting opponent for Luke Harper

On April 16, Luke Harper announced on Twitter that he had requested the release of his contract with WWE.

A little later, April 25, we announced through the Wrestling Observer that the WWE decided to refuse this release and extended the contract for six months linking it with his Superstar.

Dave Meltzer noted during the last Wrestling Observer Radio that the original plans of the company were to rival Luke Harper with Sami Zayn. Nevertheless, these plans were simply giving up.

The precise reasons for this backtracking are unclear, but this is probably due to the probably somewhat icy relationship between the officials and Harper after Harper publicly announced his wish to leave the company. But that can not be confirmed yet.

What do you think?
