In the last few weeks, a lot has been said and speculated about the possibility that Tyson Fury could become the opponent of WWE Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36, the big annual event that WWE will hold on April 5th in the city of Tampa, in the state of Florida.
It all started with the boxer, who beat Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel, showing his willingness to face the “Beast” at the big event. Tyson Fury said he wanted to face Brock Lesnar, and rumors showed out that WWE was waiting for the end of its next boxing match to make a decision.
However, as reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Tyson Fury is not in the WWE plan to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36. Whether the boxer wins or loses his boxing match against Deontay Wilder on February 22, the opponent of the “Beast” will not be him.
It is still unclear who will face WWE Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36. Some rumors point to the possibility that it might be Cain Velasquez, who could appear on the Men’s Royal Rumble Match and eliminate the champion. But other names like Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, with others, are also being talked about.
