In recent days, rumors began to circulate that CM Punk would return to WWE during WrestleMania 36. It is unclear what caused these rumors, but it may have been the former fighter’s recent reactions, and also the interview he gave where he spoke of an eventual return.
However, the PWInsider has already denied these rumors, stating that there is no communication at this time between CM Punk and WWE. The site reports that the two parties have not talked since CM Punk began working for FOX in WWE Backstage.
The possibility of one day seeing a feud between CM Punk and Seth Rollins and even an eventual match between the two at WrestleMania 36 is false. Not least because “Monday Night Messiah” has been involved for a few months in a feud with Kevin Owens.
The famous site also reports that no idea of CM Punk is foreseen at the event on April 4 and 5, especially thinking that it will now be held at the Performance Center, without an audience, and that it should be recorded sometime during the next few days.
Anyway, despite the false rumors, most WWE fans will continue to hope that one day they will be able to see Punk back on the company’s programs and rings.
