NJPW: Will Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho be at Wrestle Kingdom 14?

Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho

Despite being under contract with AEW, Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho have also made a name for themselves in Japan in recent years.

As the NJPW will host the largest ever Wrestle Kingdom edition in 2020, both are expected to appear at the event.

Jericho’s last appearances in Japan were not a success as opposed to 2018, having lost the IGPW championship at Wrestle Kingdom 13 and having lost the match valid for the same title at Dominion 6.9.

Moxley, on the other hand, can boast that he won the US IGPW title on his debut in Japan, at the best of Super Juniors final 2019, as well as a series of major victories at G1 Climax, beating Taichi among others.

At Wrestle Kingdom 14, then, both are expected in the ring, and this is corroborated by rumors that they say Jericho will challenge Hiroshi Tanahashi in that of WK 14, while for Moxley there is a match for the US IGPW title against Lance Archer.
