Kofi Kingston has become, with great effort and public support, WWE champion at Wrestlemania 35 by defeating Daniel Bryan. But despite the fans supporting him during his daring road to the Grandaddy of Them All it now appears that several fans are criticizing the reign of the New Day member.
But a famous WWE Hall of Famer, and also a former world champion, came to his rescue. It would be Mark Henry, hosted on Busted Open Radio, where he defended Kingston from fans who had criticized the kingdom as anonymously.
Here are the words of the World Strongest Man:
“I believe that many fans are size-ist, that is, they dwell a lot and too much on your size. Many believe that if you are not tall and big enough, you cannot be a good champion or a credible champion”
The former Olympic champion (participated in the Barcelona Olympics in 1992, finishing in tenth place in weightlifting), said that although the Jamaican wrestler spends his time throwing pancakes at the WWE Universe this does not lead him to be a mediocre athlete, but he praised his qualities in the ring and his seriousness outside of it.
