Twenty-four hours ago, WWE announced that a new title would be inaugurated at RAW on April 20th. Now Mick Foley showed up on the RAW ring as planned to unveil this mysterious belt that WWE managed to keep secret.
Mick Foley presented a new green belt with the name ” 24/7 championship ”. As its name suggests, it is a title that can be defended at any time of the day, on any day, and anywhere. No need to have a bell, it only takes one referee and a count of three. In addition, this championship will be open to every division of the WWE.
The first champion was crowned while Foley left the belt on the ground and invited the wrestlers to come for the belt to the race, and the first to get their hands on it would be champion. Mojo Rawley, Titus O’Neil, the Good Brothers, Jose No Way, EC3, Eric Young and Cedric Alexander arrived in the ring and started to fight.
It was finally Titus O’Neil who grabbed the belt and was crowned the first 24/7 champion in history. But his reign did not last long as Robert Roode arrived and made him a Roll Up for the count of three and become the second champion 24/7 in history.
A little later in the show, Robert Roode wanted to hide in the car of R-Truth to avoid the group of wrestlers who chased him, but a referee was waiting for him! Truth hit his head against the car and counted three to become the third 24/7 champion in history.
You will understand that anyone can really become a champion at any time. A title that falls into the category of the unpredictable.
