AJ Styles Having Issues With Paul Heyman

AJ Styles’ move to SmackDown from RAW happened because he reportedly had some issues with Paul Heyman there, and the locker room also made fun of his beliefs.

Styles wasn’t happy about the release of both of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, about which he has shown disappointment many times in the past.

Dave Meltzer mentioned in a post on the Wrestling Observer forum that Styles blamed Heyman for their release.

“The reason was that he was angry that Gallows & Anderson were fired. Blamed Heyman. A classic case of JR/JJ/Laurinaitis syndrome. Vince is the one who made the decision but I suppose he felt Heyman could have fought him on it. So he wanted to go to the side where the guy in charge isn’t supporting Vince on something like that either.”
