A big arrival at the NJPW

The NJPW is currently in action with the Dominion show, usually touted as the second biggest event of the Japanese promotion behind Wrestle Kingdom. At mid-show, the injured and much appreciated Katsuyori Shibata arrived in costume.

He was not alone, however, and had a surprise. He then asks the public to welcome … KENTA, the former Hideo Itami of the WWE! This one comes from elsewhere with a t-shirt where it is written “Takeover”. At the microphone, KENTA then says he wants to participate in the G1 Climax summer tournament (just like Jon Moxley earlier in the evening).

To be perfectly accurate, this is not the true beginnings of KENTA at the NJPW, he is used to NOAH. He had made a match and one for the promotion at the very beginning of his career in 2002.
