Brock Lesnar entered the number 1 in the men’s royal rumble match, and the WWE Champion went on an absolute tear-up, eliminating 13 straight superstars, even dancing to MVP’s theme music.
When asked if he thought Brock was the ‘best ever’, Cena responded with grace:
“I think he’s the best at when he needs to be dominant, he’s the best in situations of jeopardy. He makes people better. He still has a mystique about him that will draw eyeballs to watch him and when he does he never disappoints.cena
“He believes so much in his presence, and he has such a definable presence you can’t ignore him, and he never wastes anyone’s time and everything he does is special and everything he does meaningful and it’s not all selfish.cena
Many have criticized his opinion, but here are five reasons why John Cena is right about Brock Lesnar being the “best in-ring performer of all-time” :
05- The ability to establish someone
Brock Lesnar gets a lot of blame for his win streak, but how does anyone expect a “monster” to be booked? He’s a unique generational talent that has an experience that few in the world have.
There’s no doubt that Brock Lesnar has helped to build quite a few superstars in this run. He’s had major feuds with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins – both of whom he eventually put over and even confirmed Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman as legal threats in 2017, even if both men were booked to lose.
To be able to help put over and establish other superstars in win or loss is a criminally underrated quality of his that most people don’t seem to understand.
